Publication Design

Type on Currency

I started this book in Spring 2009 for my Typography class at Savannah College of Art and Design. With this project we need to examine typography in depth that exists in the world.

Therefore I chose to explore typography that exists on currency, because it is intergral to the current global economy and trade. It is implicit aspect of our live and is a expression of individual nations.

The contents of the book highlights a few selected countries whose currency is given prominence. The book navigates through the history of each country and explains the different elements that are on their currency.

The Built Heritage
of Trinidad and Tobago

The Built Heritage of Trinidad and Tobago was produced to commemorate the 50th anniversary of independence of the nation. The book offers the reader a thorough history of the built heritage of fifty different sites that are still in existence and are highlighted because of their importance. All of the images and the descriptions were compiled by Geoffrey Maclean.

Paintings from the Monastery, San Souci

This artist catalog about Edward Bowen was created for his 2012 exhibition under the same title, at Medulla Art Gallery. The catalogue describes his three year residency at San Souci, Toco and how this body of work was inspired by this space.

Nelson Island

This publication was produced for the 2013 Indian Arrival Day celebrations on Nelson Island. It gives a brief history about the migration of the East Indians to Nelson Island, which from 1866 to 1917 was used as a landing, immigration and quarantine station.

National Energy Magazine

I created the template for the magazine when National Energy Cooporation of Trinidad and Tobago was doing their rebranding into National Energy. During this transition I was able to develop the individual elements and identifiers for the layout of the magazine. To give it a cleaner and more contemporary aesthetic.
